Home

Barry and I would like to thank you for visiting our Kennel’s home on the web, and hope you enjoy your visit with us and our wonderful Entlebuchers through the photo, stories, and philosophies that we share.

Adhem Kennel is tucked in a beautiful mountain cove twenty-five miles south of Salt Lake City in Alpine, Utah.   We currently share our home and lives with Jenne and Yosemite.  They are our friends and companions and gift us daily with loads of Entle entertainment and unconditional love!  Not a second of our day is complete unless they are there to share it.

Our first litter was born in July 1996 and for the past twenty-seven years we have planned each breeding to preserve the good health, excellent temperament and lovely structure that is the careful legacy of the Breed Commission of Europe.

We have traveled the world breeding and competing with our Entles, and proudly breed from our own Champion lines.  While we enjoy Herding, Agility, Carting and Rally, if we embrace a canine passion it is ‘Animal Assisted Therapy’ where our girls can share the ‘best’ qualities of the Entlebucher breed with those they love and serve

Dubbed by Gazette columnist Mara Bovsun as the ‘Swiss Army Knife’ of the canine world, Entles are extremely versatile and enjoy any activity their owner has an interest in and wants to share with an enthusiastic partner!

But of all the traits and talents of the Entlebucher breed the one that I most admire is their total devotion to home and family.  Responsibility and devotion is as much a hallmark of the Entlebucher as his bright tri-colored coat!

We hope we can share with each of you our love of the Entlebucher breed, our experiences as owners and breeders, and help any of you looking for an extraordinary canine companion make a choice that will forever enrich your life.

Thanks again for visiting!!
Barry and Jan Vincent
